"This past Saturday, we travelled to our closest hockey neighbor, Richmond, to compete at the ‘Lil Rink in a 3-on-3 all day bash. This was youth hockey at it’s best – with short ice that after some 6 games in the late August heat was beginning to look more like a puddle than a frozen pond. It was an especially rewarding day for the Keaton clan as it was something of an extended-hockey-family reunion — seeing players and parents from our BRIHA squad, from our Richmond friends and with many of Brendan’s Washington All Stars teammates represented on Team Route 15. With abbreviated games and a dizzying pace of play by all, the day moved quickly and the boys all left the rink feeling exhausted, but elated at the fun they’d had." - Tiffany Keaton
